Hello, I am Heather Brown and I am the owner of Ascension SLC.

 

The process I’ve gone through to get to where I am has been a long term spiritual progression over the last twelve years. I received my level one, two, and lastly Master level attunements under a Spiritual Master/Mentor. These teachings come from the direct lineage of Usui Mikao. There are multiple Masters that learned under him that split off to create their own variations of similar trainings.

 

I typically took a year or two between attunements to integrate everything I needed for my spiritual mind, earthly mind, and body to learn. Going through things the way I did requires you to slowly shed things in your life that aren’t in alignment with your highest self. That can be everything from unhealthy relationships, to healing your own traumas that have created unhealthy patterns or dynamics in your life. Once I completed Master level attunements and trainings, I knew that I wanted to actually do this as my life’s work.

 

All practitioners have their own strengths, styles, and gifts. I feel, due to my science and healthcare background, my abilities are in preliminary healthcare diagnostics, helping with anxiety/depression cycles,  and chronic pain care.

 

How that has shown in my practice,  is my intuition and hands on physical examination during sessions, enables me to find underlying physical and mental health issues. I then recommend what kind of Doctors to seek out for medical care or additional care from a mental health professional in collaboration with our work together.

 

I accomplish these things by channeling in Egyptian/Sikh/light-language/Reiki/source/universe energy modalities. I have ways I do that, which were passed down to me by my masters/mentors. From there I then designed my own specific central nervous energy system modalities.

 

When you intentionally pick a life such as mine, to do this kind of work, your skills and knowledge keep expanding in ways that continue to surprise you. I think my best gifts are my intuition and ability to hold space for people without judgment. They trust in me to tell me their secrets, fears, beliefs, what gives them shame, and what makes me them happy. Which I consider a huge honor.

I’m lucky to have had wonderful family, mentors and peers. They have enabled me to grow, and eventually start my business, along with working on the University of Utah’s first Reiki study with CMIIND.
